Nathan recently joined our Plymouth team as a Safety Consultant, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his nine-year service in the Royal Navy as a Weapons Engineer.
During his time in the Navy, Nathan served on several platforms, gaining extensive expertise in a wide range of weapons from Sea Ceptor, to Phalanx CIWS. His responsibilities included overseeing the safe custody and accounting of explosive stores on a variety of platforms, conducting daily rounds, compartment checks and ammunitioning serials, all whilst upholding high safety standards for explosives.
Following his Naval career, Nathan continued to build on his expertise in the defence sector, working for Babcock International as a Weapons Section Head, where he played a key role in the upkeep and regeneration of HMS Bulwark.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking on Dartmoor, camping and archery.
